My Mom and Dad-in-law, both in their 80's, live about 4.5 hrs away and with such serious mobility challenges for me, we can't go far. I decided that in 2021, I wanted them to have a little something from us every so often between our Sunday phone calls and decided on sending a handmade card every week or so, and including inside it a photo of our grand-daughters for them to enjoy. We have a new grand-daughter, 3 mos old, and a very darling 6 year old one too! My in-laws are photo fanatics, so sending the photos that my hubby printed out for them in handmade cards was a gift that made their hearts happy and warm.
They are such wonderful people.
Here is one of the cards I made for them in January. Enjoy!

The little backstory here is that my German-born Mom-in-law loves fashion and has taught sewing lessons to her "ladies" privately for many years. She loves it when I am able to find images of fashionable ladies like this one for the cards I send her. :) I find the images mainly on The Graphics Fairy and Vintage Moth sites. Go visit! So much great stuff! And all royalty-free. :)
Thanks a million for visiting today!
