New layout!

Here is a layout I created with one of my own sketches from Sketches: Creatively Yours while I was doing Lain Ehmann's "Find your Style from A to Z" e-course.

I like the strong red and black striped pps, and the 3 Bugs paper, which I find so striking!!  Hope you like it.

Grace, Kate’s 7-year old Hanoverian-Thoroughbred mare, did really well at her first show at the Greenwood Horse & Riding Centre (GRHC) in June 2010.  It was a “Training Show” and  was busy and well-attended by both entrants and spectators. Grandma was there to watch the show as Kate and Grace competed in several flat classes. Grace didn’t “place” but she was calm and happy to be there. She waited over an hour and a half for her first class and was as easy-going as could be. Kate was so proud of her! Way to go Grace!

(Please note: We now know, after a thorough dental exam by our vet, that Grace is more like only 5 years old. This makes her temperament at the training show even more notable! WTG!)

Card and Layout

A brand new Card Sketch by Senior Designer Ann Seleshanko is up at Sketches: Creatively Yours this week! Pop on over and see the sketch as well as our Design Team's pretty creations. They knocked it out of the park!

Here is the card I sent to my parents, Cari and Roy, for their 47th Wedding Anniversary on April 4th. I based it on Ann's Sketch.

Every spring, we buy a Season’s Pass to the Zoo as an Easter gift from Oma & Opa. Noah especially loves it there, asking all winter long to “Go to Zoo.” We always tell him “It’s winter Noah, the zoo is closed; the animals are sleeping. We’ll go when Spring comes.” He accepts that for awhile… then a few days later will ask to go again. Noah is always so happy when spring comes and we can visit the Zoo again!!
